I am from Texas, I have always been.  A friend gave me his copy of Glyph in 1998 and I have been a fan since.  I can't wait for the day that I can see Floater live.  (I wish they had been found instead of Pearl jam)

Any other out of region fans out there?

Hey, nice to see you finally made it here! hi

I'm from Texas too--Houston originally, then I moved to Austin in 1986.  Got turned on to Floater in 2004.

I'm not the only non-Left Coastie who posts here either--but I'll let them chime in and tell you where they're from since I don't want to steal their thunder.

Fair warning--we tend to go off-topic a LOT around here, and we don't bite.  Too hard, that is. Razz

G'day all!
I'm from Utah.. Know a few fellow Floater fans, and am trying to spread the word to everyone I know. Just discovered them a year ago. OMIGOD. How did I truly live before? Don't think I really did. Saw them for the first time last Sept. Sweet jeebus it was the best show I'd seen. Flawless, beautiful, amazing.. Starstruck.

Yeah, but California is still in close enough proximity to OR for the Floater goodness.  So is Utah, for that matter.

I really was referring to Borlag, Dogstar, and EL DIGGO--especially Borlag since he's in Finlandia.

Yep, I'm in Philly. Deb turned me onto Floater some time ago, around 2003 or '04, I think. Can't remember exactly (I'm gettin' old). Been hooked ever since.
